Can we take a minute to praise Miranda Priestley, the fashion mogul who decided that boyfriend jeans were back in fashion? Because I pretty much have to be surgically removed from them nowadays. Skinny cut? What even is that?
The slouchy, tapered cut of this pair is just perfect in my opinion- hands down my favourite pair of jeans i’ve owned in a good long time. I think they’re weirdly kind of sexy (even though they’re not at all form fitting) and literally look good with *everything*. Long live the boyfriend cut!
The weather has been gorgeous, springlike. Too hot for boots, too chilly for flip flops. So i thought of opting for oxfords. I love the look, it’s the perfect combo of preppy casual with menswear details – boyfriend jeans and oxfords. Oh-and i should not forget my lovely backpack which i got before leaving my country from Medina of Tunis (مدينة العربي)which many of you loved and asked me on instagram ”from where i got it”.
I had a really, really a good day today. Thank you for bearing with me, for being supportive and encouraging, and lifting my spirits when i have needed it most. This is pretty much the style i wear everyday. Super comfy with a pinch of fabulous.Totally normal. 😉
I’ve gone through many phases with my brows. I’ve experimented with colors and techniques so i thought to share with you my eyebrow routine because it has been my go to process for getting my “perfect” (according to my taste) brows on both sides or almost 😛 .
I’ve outlined the process for you below. This method uses the classic eyebrow shaping rules that many of you have probably heard about or even use it. but with little trick to make sure your lines are flawless!
The first couple of photos show what my brows naturally look like. They are pretty much thin. Whether or not you have thin or thick brows this method should still work well for you.
1- Tweezing the underside of your brows to open up the eye area.
2-I trim the individual hairs that are unruly with brow scissors.
3-Then comes the part where you need to draw kind of a frame to your brows using eyebrow pencil. I use eyebrow pencil from Bourjois in Hazelnuts shade (07) I start by lining the upper line of the brows, starting from the very front of the brows going with the natural arch of my brows.
4- Next, i do the same on the lower line of my brows. I usually follow my natural eyebrows. If you have very thin eyebrows and want to make it looks fuller, by all means you may draw it higher than you natural brows.
You can stop the line a little past your eyes. Don’t get excited and draw the line till your ears haha. But I guess you can if you are wearing hijab.
Now stop at the highest point of the brows and start connecting it to the lower brow tails.
5- After that, you can start filling in your brows using the eyebrow pencil by making small strokes. Like you are coloring picture in color book. You can use eyebrow powder to get more natural finish. Take the powder using a small brush and heavily fill in the outer part of the brows.
6-Then to create a natural looking brow, use a light hand to fill in the inner part of the brow. The reason why you need to light handed-ly fill in the inner brows is because you wouldn’t want your brows to look too intense and fierce.
7- Remember when i said i have a trick for you? The trick is to apply some concealer or brightener under the brows to sculpt them and make them more arched and defined. (Also to hide the short untrimmed brow hairs.) . I am using Wake me up in beige shade from Rimmel.
8- Last step is i brush my eyebrows so to spread good the product using the brush of my eyebrow pencil and we are done.
Oh, and don’t be alarmed if your eyebrows are not looking the same. Happens to me all the time. After all, eyebrows are sisters, not twins. It’s okay if they look a tiny bit asymmetrical. The ladies understand and the guys won’t have too much time to notice :D.
Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you something a bit different. It’s a “Get Ready With Me” so I thought it would be fun to put together a twist on my morning routine from washing my face, breakfast & makeup, all the way to getting dressed!
It’s 7 am boo nobody likes waking up in the morning but i am going to scrub that out of my eyes with spending couple of minutes checking my social media (Facebook, Instagram, my emails etc..) then i open the curtains to let in some sweet sun to the room , to feel the breeze of the morning.
Ohh hey cute flowers 😍.
Next i aerate well the duvet and I make my bed this is something which just relaxes me and then i eat my breakfast which is the most important meal of the day YUMMY! Today i woke up quite early so i decided to spoil my self with some pancakes and Nutella .
Then i go straight to wash my face . I use a sensitive facial wash which is unscented, so free and super gentle it has an entire moisturiser so it’s super super hydrating .
I brush my teeth using my favourite toothpaste so far Sensodyne for sensitive teeth .
As soon as i am done with that i like to moisturise my face so to make my skin feeling really nice and soft and ready for makeup 😀 .
Later on i start applying some foundation and concealer using my beauty blender from UNE and that’s my everyday routine lately and i add some brightener under my eyes and on my brow bone .
Next step is filling my brows (with my eyebrow pencil from Bourjois which i forgot to make picture of, SORRY) and of course i am going to pump up the lashes with some mascara.
Next i use some bronzer to lighten my pale skin 😛 then some blush STAY BLUSHED from Rimmel which is my absolute favourite lately and then i am going to finish off with some nude nice lipstick .
Now i will chose the outfit which it depends on my mood it can be quick or a hard choice haha. So for today it’s not something special, just some shirt and pair of black jeans which i recently got from ZARA and my favorite scarf .
I put my shoes on and i am ready to go.

Whether stepping outside for a morning walk, lounging on your car or deck, or even sitting by an open the window, having few minutes to connect with nature can help you set a calm, grounded and positive tone for the day ahead. Research shows that when we connect with nature, even for just few minutes, we’re calmer, more centered and positive.
Try this: Step outside in the morning for 5 to 10 minutes with your favorite coffee or tea and just take in nature with your senses. If you aren’t able to be outside, sit near an open window. Notice the feel of the breeze as it brushes past your face. If the scenery isn’t particularly nice, close your eyes and smell the fresh morning air. Listen to the sounds of the birds or leaves rustling in the wind. Let yourself just be in the stillness of your body, breathing, sitting and surrounded by the hum of nature.
Once you’re relaxed, breathe away sleepiness. Breathe away thoughts of your to-do list and take in the freshness of a new day. Let this energy carry you through the day, coloring and shaping your life.
At the end of the day, you might do a short review and see how this morning nature meditation improved your outlook and energy. Welcome to a new day!
It’s mid September and definitely time for my first autumn look. Actually I was absolutely convinced that i will experience a late summer this month. But slowly I am giving up hope and therefore I need to start accepting the decreasing temperatures.
Fortunately, the current fall collection is making things a little bit easier! So I decided to start of with a new coat; pretty much the most important piece. I was looking for a coat that was simple and combinable with many outfits. At Primark, I found the ideal coat that satisfies all my demands… a long beige coat . I’ve been wanting to buy this kind of coat for quite some time actually, but I just never met the right one 🙂
Anyway, I am extremely happy that I bought this lovely piece, as it really brings some nice color into a grey autumn day.
“If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.”
First of all, I would like to start by sharing this quote by T.D. Jakes because it couldn’t be more perfect for today’s post.
A question I get asked time and time again, is “why did you start blogging?” Honestly, I had been thinking about starting a blog for about 2 years before . I used to (and still do) read blogs religiously, like every single day. Discovering Pinterest only made me even more obsessed with them.
Looking back I am kicking myself that I didn’t start my blog when I first thought about it (around 2 years ago), but it is hard to put yourself out there and I was very reluctant to do so. I come from a very small area, and as much as I’d like to say I don’t care what other people think, subconsciously I did so I held myself back for way too long.
To say I have a passion for fashion and beauty is kind of an understatement. I originally started this blog to share my passion and also to inspire other women. I seem to be the go-to person for a lot of my friends when it comes to fashion advice, so it’s kind of similar with blogging, but on a larger scale with a bigger audience. I always loved that feeling of helping another person. I’m hoping to do the same thing with my blog, by helping someone find that perfect dress or maybe a great pair of jeans on sale. I know life isn’t all about fashion, but feeling good about ourselves is so important and has a huge affect on our every day life. If you try a new trend you saw on my blog, and it makes you look and feel gorgeous, then I’ve accomplished what I set out to do! I can’t tell you how happy it makes me when people comment and say they bought a top they saw on one of my pictures and they absolutely love it!
One thing a lot of people don’t know about blogging is how lucrative it can be. This is the second reason I started my blog. I didn’t realize the earning potential until I started doing some research, and it turns out some of the big fashion bloggers are earning a very nice income . So much so, that a few fellow bloggers on Instagram have actually left their jobs to pursue blogging full time!
I don’t know exactly what the future holds for my little blog, but I can tell you one thing. I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be and I feel like my passion is leading me to my purpose one day at a time. I’m so thankful for all of my friends and family who believed in me and gave me the push I needed to follow my dream and start this blog!
I’d also like to thank YOU! Thanks for reading my blog and following along on my journey!
